Police helicopter and patrols cars formed part of an operation after concern was raised about a boy.

They were seen out in the Camp Hill area of town for more than an hour last night (December 30).

The police helicopter was circling the skies and officers in cars were carrying out slow patrols in and around the Queen Elizabeth Road area.

CoventryLive contacted Warwickshire Police and a spokesman explained that they were called at 7.45pm.

The Warwickshire Police spokesman said it was resolved several hours later.

“It was a report for concern for welfare of a boy,” the spokesman said.

“The boy found safe at 10.07pm and arrangements were made for appropriate support to be put in place.”
