A body has been found in the search for a missing man in Warwickshire, police have confirmed.

Last night (February 13), Warwickshire Police confirmed that a body was found in Alcester.

At this time, it is believed that the body is that of Imed Boudhina.

The 46-year-old was reported as missing earlier this week.

Though formal identification has yet to take place, police have confirmed that Imed’s next of kin have been informed.

His death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file is being prepared for the coroner.

A Warwickshire Police missing person appeal was launched earlier this week, after Imed was reported missing on Wednesday (February 10).

A spokesperson for Warwickshire Police said: “A body has been found in Alcester, and is believed to be that of 46-year-old Imed Boudhina. He was reported missing earlier this week.

“Formal identification is yet to take place but Imed’s next of kin has been informed.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious. A file will be prepared for the coroner.

“Thank you to everyone for their help in sharing an earlier appeal – our thoughts are with Imed’s family and friends at this difficult time.”
