Nuneaton’s Museum has compiled some online activities for parents and carers to entertain their kids this half term.

While the Riversley Park-based venue remains closed, the staff are still working and have come up with a way to help tackle the half term boredom.

They have created a series of downloadable craft activities, with different ones for each day of the school half term.

They include making masks, games and mobiles with a natural world theme.

Youngsters can then showcase their masterpieces on the museum’s page on Facebook.

Councillor Ian Lloyd, cabinet member for arts and leisure at Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council, said: “If you are looking for creative and fun activities for children over the Half Term, the Museum at Home activities offer a great opportunity to get involved online at Nuneaton Museum & Art Gallery.”

The activities can be found on the museum website here

There is also a ‘Rhyme Time with Melly’ on the museum’s YouTube Channel with stories and nursery rhymes for under fives.

The YouTube page can be found here.
