New signing Tyler Walker says he is “buzzing” after joining Coventry City.
The latest Sky Blues’ recruit has arrived from Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee and signed a three-year deal.
Now the 23-year-old striker is keen to get started with his new club.
“I’m buzzing to get everything done and get it over the line finally, and hopefully now we can look forward to the season and get going,” he told the club’s website.
“I think this is the next step in my career, I’m buzzing like I said to be at Coventry and in the Championship, and that is the next step for me and hopefully it will be a good move for both of us.”
Walker was on loan at Lincoln City, scoring 16 goals, and he has had a number of other loan spells.
“I’ve been on loan a few times, but now I want to settle in and have somewhere to call home and hopefully I can do that at Coventry,” Walker said.
“I played against Coventry last season and they played some really good football, and I’m looking forward to being part of that.”
