Cops found a car boot full of cannabis, scales, around 6,000 canisters of ‘hippy crack’ and paraphernalia after responding to a 999 call on the M6.
Officers from the Warwickshire Police Roads Policing Unit were called out to a two vehicle collision the M6 near Corley Services yesterday afternoon (September 22).
On arrival, they smelt cannabis and decided to search one of the cars.
It was during the search that they found quantity of cannabis, scales, around 6000 canisters of nitrous oxide and paraphernalia to inhale nitrous oxide, in the car boot.
They arrested a 24-year-old man, who remains in police custody.
A further warrant carried out a storage unit in Birmingham uncovered a further 15,000 canisters of nitrous oxide.
A Warwickshire Police spokesman said enquires are ongoing.
