Police officers were allegedly head-butted, bitten and spat at during a violent spree in Warwickshire over the past 72 hours.
There have been three reported attacks on Warwickshire Police officers since Sunday, two in Nuneaton and one in Rugby.
One officer was allegedly head-butted as he arrested a boy following a report of a disturbance at a property in Middlemarch Road, Nuneaton on Sunday afternoon (April 5).
The 17-year-old boy from Nuneaton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was later charged with assaulting an emergency worker and possession of an offensive weapon (a pool cue) in a public place.
He will appear at Coventry Youth Court on 22 April.
In another incident in Nuneaton, an officer was allegedly head-butted and bitten.

This was after he responded to a report of a disturbance at a property in Norman Avenue yesterday afternoon (April 6).
The alleged incident happened at Nuneaton Justice Centre.
Kyran Stansfield, aged 18 from Norman Avenue, Nuneaton was later charged with assaulting an emergency worker.
He will appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court on April 23.
In the final incident, another police officer was allegedly spat at after he responded to a report of a fight in Chapel Street, Rugby yesterday afternoon (April 6).
A 16-year-old boy from Rugby was arrested on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
