Coventry City have issued their squad numbers for the new 2020/21 Sky Bet Championship season.

The Sky Blues get their season underway this weekend in the Carabao Cup against MK Dons before kicking off the league campaign at Bristol City a week later on Saturday, September 12.

There are a number of changes with eight new players joining the ranks while a number of development players get squad numbers for the first time.

Latest signings Leo Ostigard and Tyler Walker take numbers 2 and 19 respectively while Callum O’Hare moves to number 11, having permanently joined the Sky Blues this summer.

Winger Marcel Hilssner has been allocated O’Hare’s number 17 jersey from last season, while Ryan Giles retains the number 18 he had at the end of last season in his first loan with City.

Right-back/wing-back Julien Dacosta has chosen the number 29 shirt, while central midfielder Gustavo Hamer has gone for 38. Young defender Jay McGrath, signed during the Summer, is number 50.

Centre-forward Amadou Bakayoko has moved from 21 to number 20 (previously worn by Liam Walsh) and, interestingly, Max Biamou retains the No.9 shirt while Matty Godden sticks with his favoured 24.
