Mark Robins has made four changes and to his Coventry City side as they get back to Championship action at Brentford.

The Sky Blues boss has also switched formation, going with two strikers up top for the first time in the division this season, handing Amadou Bakayoko his first second tier start.

There’s no Gus Hamer, who is starting the first of a three match ban after being red carded against Bournemouth, and the City boss has taken the bold decision to play just one defensive midfielder in Ben Sheaf on a day when skipper Liam Kelly is on the bench.

City are also without star wing-back Fankaty Dabo, who is presumed injured along with striker Tyler Walker, who is also absent from the matchday squad.

That means that Josh Pask comes in to deputise at right wing-back in what looks like a 5-3-2 formation.

Ben Sheaf is deployed in the holding role in the middle of the park with Jamie Allen and Callum O’Hare providing the attacking flair, with skipper Liam Kelly among the subs.

And up top, Bakayoko partners leading scorer Matty Godden, with Max Biamou and Gervane Kastaneer providing forward thinking options from the bench.
