Coventry City head to Barnsley this weekend looking for their first three Championship points on the road.

The Sky Blues chalked up their first win in the division against QPR last Friday, with a confidence boosting 3-2 scoreline and entertaining second half performance at St Andrew’s.

Manager Mark Robins has drafted in former player Sam McCallum since then to take his summer recruitment drive to ten players so far.

So will there be any more through the door as City continue to adapt to life back in the second tier of English football, and will the City boss have to let existing players go to balance the books?

Certainly, several development squad players will be heading out on loan to get valuable first team experience elsewhere before the transfer window closes next month.

And will any of the big guns come knocking for any of Coventry’s established stars like Michael Rose, who was linked with interest from several clubs including the likes of Leeds United and Bristol City earlier in the summer?

Stay tuned here to hear all the latest news from Ryton where Mark Robins will be holding his weekly pre-match press conference.
