An extra date has been added to Coventry Dining Club’s next session in the city centre this weekend.
The spin-off of the popular streetfood and drink experience in Digbeth enjoyed a hat-trick of sell-outs on its return to the city on Friday, Saturday and Sunday last week.
They’re back at Coventry Cathedral Square from Friday, April 28, until Sunday, May 2 – but now a fourth date has been added for Bank Holiday Monday (May 3).
It’s a totally different line-up of food vendors that will be on-site this weekend…
Only Jerkin’: Fried chicken with big Caribbean flavours
Flying Cows: Award-winning burgers
Press de Cuba: Grilled Cuban sandwiches
Cleopatra’s Kitchen: Egyptian streetfood
Victoria Creperie: Authentic crepes and mouthwatering cakes
Street Souvlaki: Greek flavours during rarebreed British meats
Press De Cuba, Victoria Creperie and Street Souvlaki will not be trading on the Monday, but Surf and Slice and The Brownie Box will be operating in their place.
The beverages will be coming from the following companies: Beauford Spirits, Bayley Lane, The Cocktail Caravan, Twisted Barrel Brewery and Cabuccino Coffee Co.
How does it work?
Friday sessions are 3.30pm-6.30pm and 7pm-10pm, Saturday: 12pm-3pm, 3.30pm-6.30pm and 7pm-10pm, Sunday: 12pm-3pm, 3.30pm-6.30pm and Monday: 12.30pm-3pm and 3.30pm-6.30pm.
One table, which costs £11.25 to book, and can seat up to six people. (So not £11.25 per person – if six people go together, that’s under £2 per person).
Once you’ve arrived and found a table, you scan a QR code to order and pay for drinks which are then brought out to your table. For the food, you’ve got to get up and stand in line before bringing them back to your table!
