New coronavirus cases across Coventry topped 700 in the past week.

Latest data from the government’s new covid-19 postcode dashboard has shown the city’s positive cases rose by 91 yesterday (October 18)

It means that the city has now had 720 positive cases in the last seven days, according to the website.

This is a rise of 44 per cent rise from the previous seven day period (October 5 – October 11).

Cases in Warwickshire also continue to rise.

A town in the south of the county continues to see the biggest rise in cases – Warwick.



Coventry’s statistics for October 18

Warwick

There were 28 coronavirus cases recorded for October 18.

This is 203 in the last seven days.

This is a 48.2 per cent rise from October 5 to October 11



The latest cases for Warwick

Stratford upon Avon

27 cases recorded for October 18.

This brings the total to 132 for the last seven days.

This is a 3.6 per cent decrease from October 5 to October 11.

Nuneaton and Bedworth

19 recorded cases on October 18.

This is a total of 133 in the last seven days

It is a rise of 38.5 per cent rise from October 5 to October 11.

17 recorded positive cases on October 18,

This is a total of 123 in the last seven days.

This is a 15 per cent rise from October 5 to October 11.

It represents a 30.4 per cent rise from October 5 to October 11.
