So if you’re thinking of going meat-free this January, give one of these places a try and we can assure you won’t be disappointed.

This Mediterranean fast-food outlet is a popular one with the locals with a perfect 5-star rating on Trip Advisor.

The eatery is located along Hertford Street in Coventry city centre and serves vegan-friendly options including salad boxes, falafel wraps and hummus wraps.

They also serve freshly squeezed juice and a variety of hot drinks including fresh mint lime tea, cinnamon ginger tea and traditional Arabic coffee.

There is only outdoor seating near the eatery with the option to takeaway.

2. Falafel Corner

Another Mediterranean restaurant takes a top spot as a favourite among locals.

Falafel Corner, located along Broadgate, serves a wide variety of vegan food options for those who wish to go meat-free this month.

Their menu includes falafel hummus wrap, vegetable salad hummus box and falafel hummus salad box – and it is very cost-friendly.

The restaurant has indoor seating.

3. Arco Bar & Ristorante

This Italian restaurant has a five-star rating on Trip Advisor – and we can see why.

The classy restaurant has a luxury interior for those who wish to dine in a fancy setting.

Their sophisticated menu includes a few vegan options, including a margherita pizza, creamy garlic mushroom starters and a rigatoni arrabiata main.

They also have a drinks menu including cocktails, coffees and teas.

4. Turmeric Gold

This award-winning Indian restaurant boasts an incredible interior with a unique Asian twist fit for royalty.

The restaurant is situated in a historic 700-year-old cottage, with the space revamped into a luxury setting.

The owner is from Vietnam himself, and said he opened the restaurant because he “longed for the taste of authentic Vietnamese food” – and decided to bring it to Coventry.

The restaurant, located along Spon Street, has a selected number of vegan meals to feast on including tofu pho, vegetable soups, stir fried vegetable noodles, spring rolls and salads.

Taste Vietnam has been awarded ‘Travellers’ Choice’ by Tripadvisor for its outstanding customer feedback.

They also offer a takeaway option if you wish to dine at home.
