DRC : Google may be added to class action over child labour in mines

Terry Collingsworth, representing plaintiffs who accuse US tech firms of faciltiating child labour in mines, has accepted the arguments of Hogan Lovells, the law firm representing Alphabet, which state that as it is simply Google’s parent company, it is not directly responsible for the activities of its subsidiary.
