At least 23 traders have been confirmed for the first Spon Street Market that is set to take place this weekend.
On Sunday, May 30, the historic Coventry street will be closed to motorists as people arrive to the farmers’ market which will celebrate produce from the Coventry and Warwickshire area.
Organisers are hoping that if the first event is a success, further markets will follow with a view to holding a Christmas edition at the end of the year.
The list of businesses, which is subject to change ahead of the event, includes street food, brownies, jewellery, crystals and even Reiki – a Japanese form of alternative medicine!
