Four men have been charged with attempted murder, following a stabbing in Rugby.

The men have all been charged in connection with the incident on Balcombe Road last Sunday (February 7).

It resulted in a man in his 20s suffering a stab wound.

He remains in a serious, but stable condition in hospital.

Today (Saturday, February 13), Warwickshire Police has confirmed that four men have been charged with attempted murder.

They are:

  • Callum Grace, aged 21 of Saunton Road, Rugby.
  • Samuel Wash, aged 20 of Warwick Road, Wolston.
  • Donawan Guirirab, aged 20 of Paradise Street, Rugby.
  • Farouq Semakula, aged 20 of Oakfield Road, Rugby.
  • The men were all due to appear at Coventry Magistrates’ Court this morning.

    It has been confirmed that enquiries are continuing into this incident.

    A heightened police presence on Balcombe Road and the surrounding area remains in place, and will continue over the next few days.
