Police are asking for a Good Samaritan to come forward after he helped a distressed suspected domestic violence victim in Nuneaton.
They have released a CCTV image of the man who came to the aid of the woman on Saturday, August 29.
A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said that they believe he may be able to assist with an ongoing investigation.
“He is being treated as a potential witness, not a suspect,” the spokesperson said.
Between 2pm and 3pm on Saturday, August 29 a woman in her 30s attended Nuneaton police station to report offences of a domestic nature.
She was in a distressed state and it is understood the man helped the woman to the station from somewhere near Meadow Street.
“Officers are keen to speak to him as it’s thought he could have information to assist with their enquiries,” the spokesperson said.
