Police are investigating a report of a pervert lying on the floor, looking up a woman’s skirt at a bank in Nuneaton.
A Warwickshire Police spokesperson has confirmed they are looking into an incident of ‘upskirting’ outside Barclays Bank in Market Place.
The reported incident happened at 10am yesterday (September 23).
“It was a report that man lay on the ground and tried to look up the skirt of a woman in her 30s,” the Warwickshire Police spokesperson said.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that it is not the only incident on ‘upskirting’ in the town centre in recent weeks.
“Our enquiries are ongoing into the incident outside Market Place,” the Warwickshire Police spokesperson said.
“Anyone with information can call 101 quoting incident 140 of 23 September 2020.”
Details can also be passed on via the independent charity Crimestoppers, which is free to call from a landline and confidential, on 0800 555 111.
