Online electronics retailer AO has announced a number of job vacancies in the West Midlands – including one in Coventry.
The company, which was founded in 2000, has announced plans to recruit 650 new jobs across the UK.
It includes 11 jobs in the West Midlands, split between Telford and Coventry.
According to the retailer, the recruitment drive comes as a result of a predicted growth, following a “Covid-19 accelerated online shopping habit”.
The company has said that they are looking for new staff for the recycling and logistics aspects of their business – including installation services, and customer service.
They have confirmed that the new hires will join an existing workforce of over 3,000 people in the UK.
Current vacancies in the Midlands include Appliance Engineers, Warehouse Operatives, Shift Co-ordinators, amongst others.
