It’s one of the UK’s most popular festive attractions which has been entertaining families from miles around for over 15 years – and this year is no exception, with a host of magical treats for you and your loved ones to experience and make memories to cherish forever.
The doors are opening again for this year’s spectacular event on December 3 – and they will remain open until January 3.
It’s your chance to step into a truly magical winter wonderland with real snow – and snow falling from the sky!
What’ s at SnowDome for Winter 2020?
The Winter Wonderland is made up of three areas – the Christmas snow trail, Santa’s Christmas Village and the theatre – for families to experience the best of the festive season.
Each area has been especially designed to the highest specifications, building on the huge experience that the SnowDome has established over the past 16 years.
Play in real snow at Santa’s Christmas Snow Trail
Enjoy some time playing with the family in real snow while you explore Santa’s Christmas snow trail which features snow slides and fun displays and falling snow.
You can stroll through the enchanted forest, have a game of snowballs – watch out! – and even hitch a ride on a sledge and ride around in the snow tubes. It’s great fun for all the family.
Don’t forget to wrap up warm for your visit!
All new Santa show
After the snow trail visitors move into the brand new theatre – bigger than ever – for a hilarious, heart-warming show featuring Santa and Rudolf along with a host of infamous characters from history.
Watch and enjoy Santa’s seasonal preparations get into full swing, but in all the excitement he realises Rudolf takes Christmas for granted!
In a bid to re-educate his reindeer, Santa takes him on a trip through time to discover where our traditions come from.
You wouldn’t believe some of the antics these royal characters from days gone by get up to on stage – and there are a few vikings too.
Santa’s Christmas Village
Your final stop in this festive bonanza is a trip to Santa’s Christmas Village.
Definitely one for the animal-lovers in your family. You’ll be able to get up close and personal with Santa’s furry animal friends including alpacas and miniature goats as you explore the animal area.
Take a ride on the traditional children’s carousel, step inside Santa’s boots when you visit his house, take a photo of his huge Christmas tree – and don’t forget to write the big man a letter to drop in his talking post box… it’s what dreams are made of!
The fun doesn’t stop there…
There are plenty of food and drink outlets open at SnowDome where you can enjoy everything from snacks to full hot meals and delicious drinks throughout your visit.
Treat yourself to a Christmas coffee at Starbucks, or freshly prepared fare at The Aspen Food Company, or how about a festive tipple at the Après Ski Bar & Pizzeria where you can enjoy views of the attraction’s real snow slope.
