A man has admitted a dozen counts of indecent exposure after police investigated reports of incidents at a popular park.
The search for a suspect began after officers were informed that a man had been indecently exposing himself in Babbs Mill Park, Solihull, in February.
They had been linked to other alleged incidents elsewhere in Birmingham.
West Midlands Police eventually arrested and charged Mehari Mathewos who last week pleaded guilty to a total of 12 counts of exposing himself when he appeared at Birmingham Crown Court.
The 46-year-old, of Hillcross Walk, Hodge Hill, Birmingham, will be sentenced next month and was remanded in custody.
A spokesman for West Midlands Police previously said: “The community response to our appeal and the ongoing investigation has been fantastic.
“We know that this type of crime can also go unreported, with victims feeling shocked, upset or embarrassed by what has happened. However, these are serious crimes.
“We need to ensure that we have as much information as possible on every incident that has taken place.”
Another man who was previously arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure was eliminated from the police enquiry. The 28-year-old will face no further police action.
