A man has denied murder but pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of three people, including a mother and son found dead in Coventry.
Anthony Russell entered guilty pleas to the manslaughter of 58-year-old Julie Williams and her son David Williams, 32, whose bodies were found at separate flats in Riley Square, Bell Green, on October 25 and October 26 last year.
He also admitted killing 31-year-old Nicole McGregor, whose body was found in woodland at Newbold Comyn, in Leamington, on October 29.
Russell denied murdering all three, as well as a further charge of rape.
The 38-year-old, who appeared at Coventry Crown Court via video-link from HMP Long Lartin in Worcestershire on Friday, was arrested in the Staffordshire village of Rolleston-on-Dove on October 30.
Russell, of no fixed address, was remanded into custody ahead of his trial at Warwick Crown Court on August 2.
