A man has been found in cardiac arrest on the A46 this morning (September 25).
Emergency services were called to the scene, located at the junction on Alcester Road, after a car collided with a lamppost.
A call was made at 9.42am and both police and ambulance teams attended the scene.
A man was found at the scene in cardiac arrest and the road was subsequently closed off in both directions between Bishopton Roundabout (A3400) and Tollgate Roundabout (A422).

At time of writing, the road remains closed.
Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire attended the scene alongside police.
A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: We were called to reports of a car that had collided with a lamppost at the junction of the A46 and Alcester Road at 9.42am.
“Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Staffordshire attended the scene.
“On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was in cardiac arrest. More details will follow when available.”
A spokesman for Warwickshire Police said: “This was reported to police at by paramedics at 09.47.
“Car had collided with a lamppost and the male driver was in cardiac arrest.
“Police, fire and ambulance attended. The road was closed in both directions between Bishopton Roundabout (A3400) and Tollgate Roundabout (A422).
“Road closure now with Highways.”
