A man was left with stab wounds following an attack on a main road in Nuneaton.

Passers-by spotted emergency services on Queens Road last night (February 10) as well as a forensics tent.

Coventry Live contacted West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) about the incident.

A WMAS spokesperson said: “At 6.13pm we were called to reports of a stabbing in Queens Road.

“One ambulance and one paramedic officer was sent to the scene.

“On arrival we treated one patient, a man, for minor stab wounds and he was taken to hospital for further treatment.”

His condition this morning remains unknown.
