Mark Robins describes Coventry City’s new signing Tyler Walker as a “terrific talent”.
Walker has joined the Sky Blues from Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee and the 23-year-old has put pen to paper on a three-year deal.
“We’re delighted to announce the signing of Tyler,” Robins told the club’s website.
“He is a terrific talent, who we have been interested in for the last couple of years.
“As his goalscoring record shows, he’s a striker with great ability who really tests and stretches defences and is a fantastic signing for the Club.
“We’re really pleased to get this significant transfer completed, and are looking forward to working with him.”
Walker came through the system at Forest and scored five goals in 40 league appearances for the Reds.
He has had loan spells at Burton Albion, Stevenage, Port Vale, Bolton, Mansfield Town and Lincoln City.
Walker hit 22 goals in 44 league games for Mansfield and 14 in 29 league matches for Lincoln last season.
