It has been eight long years since the McRib sandwich was last available at McDonald’s – but it is on its way back.
The classic sandwich – made with pork, barbecue sauce, pickles, and onions – is a firm favourite with customers.
And the McRib will appear on menus in the UK on December 2.
The sandwich will be available nationwide, meaning those in Coventry and Warwickshire will be able to get a taste.
But you’ll have to hurry as they will only be in restaurants for a limited time.
The McRib was such a cult classic, there is even a website called the McRib Locator which spreads the word about McDonald’s restaurants that are offering sandwich.
And the news has been welcomed on Twitter.
One user said: “Can’t wait for my son to bring a mcrib home! He has no idea what it is!”.
Another commented: “Everywhere? Or just in select locations like the last few years? It hasn’t been around me in YEARS, and I need it!!!”
But the announcement led some to question when other favourites might be making a reapparance.
