Almost 400 homes and businesses in Nuneaton have been paralysed by a powercut.
Large parts of Abbey Green and Attleborough have been hit by the powercut.
Western Power Distribution revealed the outage problem at around 10.55am in parts of CV10 and CV11 areas.
According to its website, it states that 374 properties are currently without power.
There have been reports on social media that people’s lights have been flickering or they have had no power at all.
The firm’s website states it is a ‘high voltage’ power loss but engineers hopes to have the power back around lunchtime.
“We are aware of this power cut incident which was raised at 10:55am this morning and our engineers are working to get the power returned as quickly as possible,” the website states.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience this is causing you.”
It goes on to conclude: “We estimate that power will be restored by 12.30pm this afternoon.”
