Coventry City boss Mark Robins has named his team news for the both halves of this afternoon’s pre-season double-headers.

The Sky Blues will take on Peterborough United twice at London Road, once at 1pm and again at 3.20pm.

And Robins has gone strong for his squad for the first clash, naming a starting eleven that could take on MK Dons for the club’s first competitive fixture of the season next weekend.

New signing Tyler Walker, who put pen to paper on a three-year deal yesterday, makes the bench alongside Marcel Hilssner who has bounced back from an injury sustained in the warm-up on Tuesday night.

18-year-old midfielder Daniel Lafferty is also alongside them in the dugout for the first time.

Marko Marosi starts in goal with teenager Blaine Rowe, Dom Hyam, Kyle McFadzean, Ryan Giles and new loan signing Leo Ostingard forming a five-man defence ahead of him.

Liam Kelly remains absent with Gustavo Hamer and Jordan Shipley in midfield behind Jamie Allen and Callum O’Hare.

Matty Godden starts alone in attack.

For game two Robins starts a second-string side that will allow Liam Kelly and Josh Pask to make their returns from injury.

Ben Wilson starts in goal with Jack Buroughs, Josh Pask, Jordon Thompson, Declan Drysdale and Brandon Mason ahead of him.

Liam Kelly captains the side with youngster Josh Eccles alongside him.

Jodi Jones starts in attacking midfielders behind attacking duo Will Bapaga and Amadou Bakayoko.

Max Biamou, Marcel Hilssner and Gervane Kastaneer were named on the bench.
