A petition has been launched to change ‘absolute nightmare’ roads in Nuneaton.
It calls for Victoria Rd and School Hill in Hartshill to be made into a one way system.
The petition says that traffic is getting worse in area and, on occasions, is so clogged that vehicles cannot pass each other safely.
It asks for people to add their signature so that it can be sent to decision makers at both North Warwickshire Borough Council and the highways team at Warwickshire County Council.
What does the petition say?
It is on change.org and reads: “Can the community of Hartshill come together and petition for Victoria Rd and School Hill to be made into a one way system? There was talk of this many years ago.
“Or narrow the pedestrian pavements so that the cars can pull in.
“The traffic is getting worse and is an absolute nightmare especially at school run times!
“Last week a Bus and a Lorry could not pass each other, so blocking up Victoria Rd. Parents are just stopping in the Rd making it impossible for other road users to pass.
“Can someone give us a solution as it is only going to get worse.”
