Four people were arrested on suspicion of drugs offences after police raids were carried out in Rugby.

Officers forced entry to properties on Plowman Street, The Sidings and Smith’s Orchard in the town on Monday morning (November 30) after receiving intelligence of drugs supply at the three addresses.

A quantity of suspected class B drugs believed to be cannabis, along with cash and mobile phones were seized from the properties.

Three men, aged 26, 30 and 42, and one woman aged 34, all from Rugby, have been arrested on suspicion of supplying or offering to supply a controlled class B drug.

They have since been released under investigation while Warwickshire Police’s enquiries continue.
