A social club  in Nuneaton faces a £200 fine after being caught serving drinks after the 10pm curfew.

A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said officers were called to the venue last night (October 13).

The spokesperson said that the force would not reveal the identity of the venue to CoventryLive.

But they said it has been reported to receive the fine.

It was not the only coronavirus rule-flouting fine issued in the town last night.

Officers also spotted a takeaway where staff were not wearing masks.

Again, the identity of the venue has not been disclosed, but it has been told to pay a £200 fine.

Enforcement

It is the latest coronavirus rule-breaking action by taken by Warwickshire Police

Over the weekend, the force responded to 36 reports of  Covid-19 rule breaking incidents.

There were 17 teens who now  face £200 fines after they refused to break-up from illegal gatherings in Nuneaton.

A pub owner in the Nuneaton and Bedworth area was previously fined £200 by Warwickshire Police for breaking coronavirus regulations.

Also, two people in Bramcote were given £10,000 fines for rule-breaking gatherings.
