Police are searching for three men after a stabbing in Nuneaton.
More details have emerged about the incident in Queens Road last night (February 10) which left a man in his 20s with stab wounds.
Investigating officers have revealed that the victim was walking towards an apartment block when he saw three men outside.
After letting them into the block, he went up one flight of stairs and was assaulted – suffering head injuries and a stab wound to his arm and lower back.
He was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.
Now officers want to trace the three men, who were last seen heading off on foot along York Street towards Fife Street.
Two of them have been described as being black and the other white and they were all wearing dark clothing.
A Warwickshire Police spokesperson said: “Enquiries into the incident are currently ongoing and anyone with information, who was in the area at the time, or who can help is asked to call 101 quoting incident 281 of 10 February.”
Details can also be passed on to officers via the independent charity Crimestoppers, which is free to call from a landline and confidential, on 0800 555 111.
