Coventry City’s Championship campaign comes to an end on Saturday afternoon when they take on Stoke City at the bet365 Stadium.

Nothing but positional pride is on offer for these two teams when they go head to head with either side rooted just above mid-table. Victory for Stoke City, however, would see them leapfrog the Sky Blues and possibly rise as high as tenth in the Championship standings. Mark Robins‘ side, meanwhile, could move up to ninth with a victory.

Sky Blues boss Robins has suggested his team for Saturday’s fixture could reveal some of his plans for next season as the game provides a useful opportunity for fringe players to impress.

The likes of Fabio Tavares, for example, could be handed a chance to show what he can do either from the start or for a longer period of time on the pitch rather than the late cameos he’s enjoyed so far. Conversely, the writing could be on the wall for those who don’t figure in the squad to face the Potters at the Bet365 Stadium.
