The University of Warwick has been ranked among the top universities in the UK and the World.
The Times Higher Education 2021 World University Rankings has ranked the university 77th overall in the world and ninth in the UK.
Vice Chancellor Professor Stuart Croft welcomed the news. He praised staff and students but warned that his focus would be on the year ahead, which promises to be “challenging” in the wake of the Covid-19 crisis.
He said: “I could spend time celebrating the fact that we have retained our top 100 position in this table in what continues to be a turbulent year for our whole world.

The World University Rankings include more than 1,500 universities across 93 countries and regions and claims to be the largest and most diverse university rankings to date.
The rankings are based on 13 performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance in teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook.
Coventry University was ranked joint 601-800th worldwide and joint 40th in the UK.
